Arnaud Feletin, Senior Manager for Baker Hughes’s BEACON Remote Connectivity services, combines 15 years of experience in deploying and managing O&G Remote Telecommunications services. He received a Master Degree in Space Communications from the Engineering School of Telecommunications in Paris France before working for the European Space Center, the British Telecom VSAT division and deploying VSAT networks for the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria. He moved to Houston in 1998, installing ISP-grade Intranet and security services for Schlumberger and Cable&Wireless then returned to the Energy industry 8 years ago with Baker Hughes. He has developed Baker Hughes Field Telecommunications capabilities building a web of private VSAT networks, VPN devices and Inmarsat systems connecting more than 500 remote onshore or offshore locations in 60 countries. Arnaud is a founding member of the GoM Broadband Special Interest group (also includes Fugro, Halliburton and Weatherford). When he is not pondering how to connect BHI Turkmenistan Operations, Arnaud is an avid soccer player who is just returning to competition after rehabbing from knee surgery.
