The Offshore Communications Golf Tournament will be held on the Lakes Course at Wildcat Golf Club. The Lakes Course offers panoramic views of the city, from the Galleria area to the Medical Center to Reliant Park to Downtown. The name fits as many of the holes make you navigate around the Wildcat lakes if you want to score well. This course has rolling fairways and fast greens and throws in the element of water hazards. The Lakes course also offers dramatic elevation changes that can be rivaled by no other course in Houston.
Contests at the Offshore Communications Golf Tournament Include:
Lowest Score
Bragging rights for a year to the lowest team score of the day
Hole-in-One
Score a hole-in-one on Holes 4 or 17 to win a 6-month membership to Wildcat Golf Club
Long Drive Contest
Grip it and rip it down the fairway to be named Offshore Communications longest driver
Closest to the Pin
Stick it as close as you can to the pin from the tee box on Hole 8
Straightest Drive
Distance does not matter, just keep your drive as close to the middle of the fairway as possible
Best Dressed
This is your opportunity to showcase your best Payne Stewart, Greg Norman, or John Daly impression with the best dressed team contest
