The Gulf of Mexico Broadband Special Interest Group - Continuing the Dialogue

$50.00

Since the inception of the Gulf of Mexico Broadband Special Interest Group, announced at Offshore Communications 2008, satellite-enabled wireless broadband access for 3rd-party energy service providers has been implemented on more than 100 oil rigs worldwide.
The initiative, which comes as the offshore market seeks new ways of strengthening the broadband value proposition, will continue at Offshore Communications 2009 by bringing together a group of key energy-sector players to expand commercial collaboration with providers of offshore communications as they seek continued improvements in delivery of profitable broadband access on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and overseas.
The roundtable discussion during Offshore Communications 2009 will reveal greater detail regarding the extent to which the initiative has been successful, as well as the short, medium and long-term potential to build upon the commercial gains made during the past year.

Moderator: David Hartshorn, Secretary General, GVF

Jason Celaya, Esq., Vice President of Sales, Broadpoint Inc.
Arnaud Feletin, Senior Manager for Global Remote Communications, Baker Hughes
